Please don't forget that we also have to maintain a debian/copyright 
file which needs to contain each and every copyright holder and 
license blurb that applies to the package (please see Romain Beauxis' 
current give-up message to the list for just this very reason).

In cases like this it doesn't really help if the package is full of 
binary files and source code copies even if they aren't included in 
the binary packages. We need to track debian/copyright for everything 
we distribute - and we distribute the sources as well!
