I have investigated a bit and the setup seems relatively simple. It is
as follows:

A tool called quinn-diff is called which parses the Sources and Packages
and determines which packages need to be built (once for each
architecture).

Wanna-Build is called, which parses the output of quinn-diff and stores
a database of packages and its states.

Buildd pokes the wanna-build database, and gets a package to build. It
calls sbuild, which does the actual building.

So, buildd is usually in a machine other than wanna-build and
quinn-diff. These last 2 can be in the same machine.

I am currently trying to setup a working example on my machine, to see
if it that easy.
