Duplicate effort on "unofficial" packages

Hi Daniel,

by chance I have seen that you are still working on unofficial Debian
packages at <http://git.debian-maintainers.org/> (I personally
believed you dropped this effort some time ago).

However, I think you should know that siretart and me are working on a
similar project called debimedia that we are going to announce RSN.
Some background can be found at
<http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMultimedia/debimedia>. All packages will
be maintained by the pkg-multimedia team and can be found in the
appropriate git repositories (in the master.extra branch for extra
packages to packages already in Debian).

I would like to avoid that two similar projects are doing duplicate
effort and maybe announce similar services in the near future (which
would be embarrasing). Therefore I'd like to invite you to take part
in debimedia development and join forces with us! Since we currently
only overlap in the lame package and most of the other packages you
prepared are non-free, we could consider a separate non-free section
for debimedia as well, but I'd like to discuss this with Reinhard
first when he comes back from his honeymoon.

Cheers,
Fabian
