I am not very good with SVN, so please verify if I understand correctly:

Above means that you did in fact track the standard public accessible 
trunk branch, and the most recent commit to that branch was not 3978 but 
3968 - that other number is simply the global counter of the SVN 
repository.

In other words: r3968 and r3978 of the trunk branch are identical.

Right?


If so, I would recommend in the future to use the revision number of the 
actual latest commit instead of the number of HEAD of the global 
repository. That makes more sense to me :-)
