Directly installing Python code should not be necessary with cdbs 
python-autotools.mk so is a sign something is possibly wrong either with 
the cdbs snippet or with our use of it.

When looking at the packaging recently, it failed bafore even compiling 
all code (problems with manpage generation), so I was unable to look 
into this issue.  Is it time for me to have another look then please 
tell me :-)
