Lately when I try accessing videos on my SMB share I get following error:
"VLC is unable to open the MRL smb"
However I found a workaround for this problem, which is following:
VLC:
Tools > Preferences > Show settings = All
Interface > Main interfaces > HTTP
Setting "Host address" to “localhost:8082" resolves this problem.
