willing to join pkg-multimedia

[lluis gomez i bigorda]

Hi list,

My name is Lluís Gómez i Bigordà, I'm Barcelona based free software 
enthusiast, and there I had studies in computer science.

I'm actually working in Hangar, an arts production center, we have a 
small lab here helping artists to success on their "digital art" 
projects. We try to use as much free soft as we can :)

I'm a member of PureData community (so, probably some of you already 
know me) since 2004, first only like a user but later also as an 
externals developer, I have worked or contributed in several pd libraries:

	pdp/pidip
	pd_vjtools

On the other hand I also develop some other tools as

	tss - a gtk gui for (dvgrab + ffmpeg2theora + oggfwd) to make easy live 
straming.

	and some other "local" stuff for the giss.tv streaming platform and 
comunity on which I'm also a member.


i also consider myself an experienced user in Linux multimedia, having 
experience on different fields.

Lately I'm geting more and more aware on the importance of the software 
maintainment and for that reason I decided to ask you join 
pkg-multimedia. Fo sure I can learn a lot on this group and also (I 
hope) I can contribute some work-force and a bit of knowledge ... :)

I'm not the man with more time in the world and I don't really know how 
much effort I'll need to be useful here but maybe I can try to see how 
the things are going on and find my way to contribute ..... is that ok 
for you guys ?
