Package: audacity
Version: 1.3.12-7.4
Severity: normal

*** Please type your report below this line ***
Audacity is not configurable under /Edit/Preferences/Devices the only option that works
for recording audio is 'Default'. A setup with two soundcards is not possible. When I
record audio in spite of these limitations, it hangs after about eight minutes,
regardles of 'Quality' settings, or sooner if I try to record in the background and do
other things simultaneously. I am running a custom built kernel configured for desktop
use and for this particular computer. Maybe it has to do with the snd-ca0106 kernel
module. This does not work properly with vlc either.
