Bug#659633: guayadeque cannot play any music after update to 0.3.5~ds0-1

Dear Maintainer,

after updating guayadeque with the package from unstable the program isn't able 
to play anything. I tried to rescan the library, which seems to work fine, but 
when I selct a song and press <ENTER> to play, the progams hang totally: no 
response anymore, no redrawing of the window and of course: no playing! I only 
can kill the progam.

Starting guayadeque from a terminal I get:

P.S.: No idea why in the following list of "packages guayadeque depends on" 
all installed packages are marked as purged. They are installed with the 
version shown there and also libxml2 is installed:
