Not necessary, we can just build "--without-mp4v2". No idea how 
usefull it still is, then...

I don't think this is possible, since the original authors are the 
developers of the now disfunct mpeg4ip project. On the other hand, the 
FAAC authors could get asked to include a linking exception that 
allows linking against libmp4v2.
