I am too experiencing this same bug.

I used to rely on this feature a lot, as well.
Especially taking into account that I usually keep the interface
"rolled up".
I hope this issue may be fixed soon.


P.S.: I am under the impression that a "forcemerge 672498 673695"
should be sent to control at b.d.o: do the Debian Multimedia Maintainers
agree that these two bugs should be merged?
