The Debian Multimedia Maintainers and the power of the Social tools

Hi folks,

I've been asking the Debian GIS team to join there in order to start to
maintain a new package with their collaboration and on their wirki page [1]
I noticed they have opened accounts on some of the most popular social
networks: Identi.ca and Twitter.

So I though "why not doing the same for the pkg-multimedia team?" :)
We could share updates on the status of the packaging works, ask people
to helping out with the bug triaging and encourage to testing new or
experimental packages, and for sure spread recent news about the activity
of the team in general as well.
