Uhm, isn't gcc-4.8 supposed to be the default compiler for all archs
in wheezy? I notice that you did not file this as an RC bug, does that
mean that you don't consider sparc critical for the current x264
transition?

For now, I'm uploading a version of x264 that avoids setting that flag
on sparc, but that's of course not a good long-term solution.

What's the plan with gcc on the sparc port? Is it going to be updated
soon, or is wheezy unlikely to come with a sparc port?
