Bug#872704: cantata: Dragging local files into playqueue does not work

Package: cantata
Version: 2.1.0.ds1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

* What led up to the situation?

Cantata normally supports dragging local audio files into the playqueue (even
with a remote mpd; in that case, cantata spawns an HTTP daemon and adds the
HTTP stream to the mpd playqueue).

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?

I tried dragging a local mp3 file from dolphin into the cantata playqueue.

* What was the outcome of this action?

Cantata accepted the drop, but did not add the file to the play queue; no
communication with mpd happened.

* What outcome did you expect instead?

Cantata should add the file to the playqueue and ensure that it gets served via
HTTP for the remote MPD.

Additional hints:

- I tried different audio files, no difference.
- I tried building cantata from source (https://github.com/CDrummond/cantata/,
both master branch and v2.1.0 tag), where the feature works correctly(!). It
seems to be something wrong with the debian package or the specific version
used to build that package.
- When building from source, it did not matter whether my firewall was open or
closed.
- This also appears to affect stretch/stable, even though I haven’t checked
whether a build from source works there.

kind regards,
Jonas Wielicki
