should i suggest this: <br>

1.- a <b>direct</b> PF11 (or any PF..) hot.button <br>
<br>
<b>to snapshot directly the current picture</b><br>
displayed from the movie.<br>
<br>

2.- to upgrade VLC to load (open, read and display) <br>
the picture sequence from an <b>animated gif</b> <br>
<br>
therefore, the benefit is clearly to integrate agif's<br>
as a source pic sequence<br>
