Justification: renders package unusable

Feel free to downgrade this issue if this is particular to my install, 
but I thought it was important to file this one as soon as possible in 
case it impacts others with production data:

I tried to connect to mysql using the information in 
/etc/mysql/debian.cnf and it did not work.
