Erm  not really. The way the flow is supposed to work is Debian -> 
Ubuntu. That is the only flow that has any degree of automation but 
Debian developers are always free to pull patches from where they like 
and Ubuntu developers to dvierge if they fee tha necessary.

What happened with MySQL is that the Debian side got impoissibly short 
satffed and so Ubuntu pulled ahead. As far as I am concerned we are 
working our way back to convergence and which point it should make sense 
for Ubuntu to just pull from Debian once again. And hopefully Clint 
should be a developer in both and be able to keep both happy with a 
single source.
