[debian-mysql] Bug#852495: mariadb-server-10.[01]: purging old mariadb-server shuts down mariadb-server and removes init.d links

Hi Julian,

I am looking into the jessie->stretch updates and I think we can make
this simpler without mangling other packages' maintscripts.

mariadb-10.0 gets updates (via security/release team), so we can just
update the mariadb-10.0 postinst script for jessie package.

Same needs to be done for: mysql-5.5 and anything else currently present
in jessie-backports (mysql-5.6 would be problematic, since it doesn't
exist in the unstable anymore).

After stretch release, I think that each package should provide it's
version specific init scripts. It's easy to add Alias in the systemd
unit, and I am sure we can think of something similar for sysvrc
(something like update-alternatives might possibly work).

Would you be willing to help me clean your patches to not include the
other packages' maintscripts mangling?

Cheers,
