Maybe, this has already been adressed in some way, but I believe there
might be a legal problem with this package.

In the file twolame-0.3.12/libtwolame/fft.c there is the following
comment: (starts at line 27, only part of it shown here)

/*

** NOTE: This routine uses at least 2 patented algorithms, and may be
**       under the restrictions of a bunch of different organizations.

In my opinion, this does not really seem to be unencumbered code.

Just as an additional note: The same comment can also be found in the
LAME source.
