Package: nagios-text
Version: 2:1.0-7
Severity: important

Most of the plugins for nagios are named with underscores, for example
check_load, but some are named with hyphens, such as check-imap.
Since the plugin names usually correspond to the filenames, except in
this case (the file is called check_imap), this is confusing and
should be remedied - for backwards compatibility, probably by
including duplicate entries in checkcommands.cfg.

The offending plugin entries are:

/etc/nagios% grep command_name checkcommands.cfg | cut -f - | grep -v '_'
check-imap
check-host-alive
check-printer-alive
check-switch-alive
check-router-alive
check-rpc
check-nfs

It also may be useful to rewrite /etc/nagios/command.cfg so it refers
to /etc/nagios/checkcommands.cfg instead of the nonexistent
/etc/netsaint/plugins-auto.cfg.
