Hello,

Seems that host method in hosts.cfg file is not used. I changed
notifications_enabled to 1 and event_handler_enabled to 0. In nagios web
interface I see that Enable Checks value is NO. When I changed
event_handler_enabled to 1, Enables Checks has changed to 1 too. Seems
that nagios itself or nagios web interface does not uses that method?

hi,

i believe this is no longer a problem in the current version of the
nagios package. i've tested this myself and recieve notifications
for both hosts and for services.

so, i am closing this bug. if you are still having this problem,
feel free to re-open the bug and we can take things from there.

thanks,
	sean
