it cleanly installs, and with the fixups in the latest commit to the
init script, it successfully starts up the daemon.  however,
there still seems to be a problem, i'm not sure if it's with the built
binaries or just the default configuration.  if you try and
access any of the nagios pages, you get an error page saying that
nagios was unable to access the service logs.  the config points
at a non-existant /var/cache/nagios/status.log, though creating the
directory doesn't seem to have much effect and there's nothing
telling in the logs.  i'm not sure what's going on here, so
if someone else could help take a look at it, i'd appreciate it.

also, in debian/rules, the dependencies don't seem quite right.  for
example,

fakeroot debian/rules binary-nagios-text

doesn't produce a deb, because a couple targets are left out
of the dependencies (i think it skips the patches, and later
runs the "install" target, which hasn't been split to
install-nagios-foo like everything else so it dies)
