[Pkg-nagios-devel] Homedirectory for all nagios applications

Hi, 

currently nagios3 uses /var/run/nagios3 as homedir which is not a good choice
as /var/run is meaned non-permanent. nrpe-server on the user hand uses
/var/log/nagios which does not exist anymore. I think we should use a common
homedirectory for all nagios based applications. So I'm asking for some input
and ideas here. Maybe /var/lib/nagios (without a version, I don't want to
change that with every nagios major release) would be a good choice. 

What do you think? And the other question is: should this be upgraded for
upgraded installation? I don't think so as this may break some things for
people that use for example ~/.ssh or similiar things.
