Not really... Keep in mind that unneeded code just won't be used during
the build process. Almost everything regarding gnulib is automated. when
we want to add/remove/update gnulib modules we just run the gnulib-tool
script and it does the job. It will make no difference if we remove
unneeded code now or later

FYI we only use a (relatively) tiny subset of available Gnulib modules
and I'm confident most of them are there for a reason.
