I reported[1] your wish over 9 month ago to upstream without any comment until 
now. I'm tagging the bug wontfix, since don't want to implement this for my 
own (and there should plugins anywhere outside, which should do this trick).

In case you have patches, feel free to commit them to the upstream bug.
