'$ARG1' could be what ever you like, even nothing. In my environment I
just call 'check_cups' without arguments, but you can also specify
threshold and much more without defining new check_commands.

Looking into it deeply, it seems to make sense to drop the expect
string and drop back to the defaults. Dunno why this was introduced,
but latest trace is in the VCS from 2006.
