[Pkg-nagios-devel] Fwd: Orphaned nagios-nrpe package.

Alex,

I appreciate the quick response.

The bug reports and complaints in the package discussion should merit
re-adding the feature.  Let alone it must be explicitly configured if the
feature is there.

It's akin to saying password based logins to ssh should be disabled
permanently because someone with root access can give a person a blank
password if they know how to edit /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow.

You have said that you're orphaning the package and other people have
offered to take over the maintenance duties. So the question really is, how
do we get someone else maintenance duties for the orphaned nagios-nrpe
package?
