[Pkg-net-snmp-devel] Bug#569009: snmpd: error on a system without swap

Hi,

> henrich at test:~$ cat /boot/config-3.13.7 | grep -i swap
> # CONFIG_SWAP is not set
> CONFIG_ARCH_USE_BUILTIN_BSWAP=y
> CONFIG_NFS_SWAP=y
> CONFIG_SUNRPC_SWAP=y
> CONFIG_RING_BUFFER_ALLOW_SWAP=y

 customized kernel and disable CONFIG_SWAP and installed snmpd

> henrich at test:~$ sudo grep -i snmp /var/log/syslog
> 
> henrich at test:~$ sudo grep -i snmp /var/log/syslog.1 
>

 Nothing happened.

> henrich at test:~$ ps ax|grep snmp
>  3891 ?        S      1:58 /usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u snmp -g snmp -I -smux mteTrigger mteTriggerConf -p /var/run/snmpd.pid
>  6664 pts/0    S+     0:00 grep snmp

 snmpd works.

> henrich at test:~$ dpkg -s snmpd
> Package: snmpd
> Status: install ok installed
(snip)
> Version: 5.7.2~dfsg-8.1+b1

 as 5.7.2~dfsg-8.1+b1

 I'll check it with older snmpd later.
