hi Daniel

the original advisory says
> Using earlier NVIDIA Linux drivers on the Celsius H270 notebook will
> result in a corrupt EDID
and
> anyone repackaging a 180.xx NVIDIA Linux graphics driver upgrade to
> 180.51

moreover what LWN says is
> It fixes a problem with the 180.29 release (packaged by RPMFusion, at
> least)
it does not say that 180.29 is the only release being affected.

So I would strongly suggest upgrading the driver (and reopening
the bug so that people withthat notebook are advised not to use the
older one)
