Hi, I think bugs 583312 and 583336 are related. Boths are about kdm timing out while the nvidia card is initializing regardless whether the binary nvidia or the nouveau driver is used. In the case of nouveau there even isn't any init.d script AFAIK. Best regards, Thomas Koch, http://www.koch.ro
