Oh, okay, yeah, that's fixed in Subversion (I need to request another
freeze exception for a new upload; I've been very slow in working on
that).

Well, I'm not sure exactly what failed, but if nvidia-kernel-dkms is
installed, it should automatically notice the installation of a new kernel
header package and build a module for that kernel.  So removing the new
kernel header package and then reinstalling it should trigger the DKMS
build.

If the module built but didn't load, that's a different problem; for that,
the X.org log file is probably the best information to provide.
