An interesting test would be to downgrade Xorg to the version from squeeze 
while keeping the current driver. If the behavior persists, this will be a 
nvidia problem (and should disappear by downgrading the driver to the version 
from squeeze, too).

Please also have a look in the nvidia forum, eventually someone has reported a 
similar problem there, too.

If it turns out to be a nvidia problem, you should report it there, too (or 
add more information to an existing thread). Please post an URL here, too, so 
that we can follow progress.
