Hi,

the archlinux folks appear to have a patch for this:

I'm afraid I currently lack the time to verify whether the patch is the
correct solution.

Have any of the maintainers tried contacting Nvidia with your Debian hat
on? The forwarded-to-address points to what appears to be a third party
forum. Or is that really the preferred channel to report bugs to Nvidia?
