Bug#592204: reproducing #592204 (libvdpau related crash on program exit) with XBMC?

Dear XBMC maintainers, dear bug reports and commenters,

I'm looking for someone who can reproduce #592204 in wheezy.
AFAICT XBMC is currently the only package in Debian that dlopen()s
libvdpau and therefore the only candidate to trigger this bug.

The expected behavior for this bug is that the application crashes
during shutdown after having done dlopen()/dlclose() libvdpau.so.1 from
wheezy.

The expected fix is using libvdpau1 from sid and getting no more crashes.

I tried to play around with XBMC myself for a few minutes but failed to
play a video or trigger using libvdpau in some other way ...

Please reply to #592204 and in case you can reproduce the crash in
wheezy and confirm that it gets fixed with libvdpau1 in sid, also leave
a note at the unblock request #699375.
