Hi Martin, from your bugreport I see your actions were as follows: * boot with 340.32 (X comes up) * stop X * unload nvidia module * update to 340.46 * load the nvidia module * reportbug So far this looks all fine. But you didn't start X again, so nothing "failed" and left interesting logfile entries. Andreas
