As in the previous message, please check:

"During the
installation the driver package will show a debconf warning in the
terminal about mismatching modules if nouveau is loaded, advises to
reboot after the installation and waits for the user to press "ok",
and proceeds just fine once you do. Are you sure you weren't doing
something like running apt in the background (if this is a requirement
you can preseed the answer)? And that debconf is properly working on
your system?"
