Hello,
I am interested to help packaging NX Core components and freeNX for Debian.
So I have downloaded:
http://nomachine.com/download/1.5.0/sources/nx-X11-1.5.0-15.tar.gz
http://nomachine.com/download/1.5.0/sources/nxauth-1.5.0-1.tar.gz
http://nomachine.com/download/1.5.0/sources/nxcompext-1.5.0-16.tar.gz
http://nomachine.com/download/1.5.0/sources/nxcomp-1.5.0-65.tar.gz
The problem is that the make World produces the same libraries like the
X11 or the X.org window system produces.
The four libraries are known:
libX11.so
libXcomp.so
libXcompext.so
libXext.so
So I have patched the IMake System. After I patched the iMake system the
four libraries now known as:
libNXX11.so
libNXXcomp.so
libNXXcompext.so
libNXXext.so
So we can install it under /usr/lib/NX or /usr/lib and we ahve no
problems with the existing X11 und Xext libraries. :)
Next steps are:
-creating a libNX package with dpatch for the Imake system.
-packaging the other NX Core components.
What do you mean, can I help you?
Greets,
Jonas
