>From what I can tell: yes and not. Yes, the files won't be identical.
No, it won't make a difference and there's zero chance that these files
can ever be the same:

$ pdfinfo interpderiv1.pdf
Producer:       ESP Ghostscript 815.03
CreationDate:   Mon Sep 17 17:22:22 2007
ModDate:        Mon Sep 17 17:22:22 2007

So, the creation time stamp is included in the files. There's no way we
can get these binary files to be identical bit-for-bit.
