Features of the NaN package for Octave:

    o Implement statistical tools
    o NaN`s are treated as missing values
    o less but more powerful functions (no nan-FUN needed)
    o fixes known bugs
    o compatible to Matlab and Octave
    o easy to use, compatible to existing software
    o supports DIM argument
    o supports unbiased estimation
    o significance test, confidence intervals and Spearman`s rank
      correlation included in CORRCOEF. 
    o CORRCOEF checks whether NaN's (missing values) are correlated with data

This package will be maintained by the DOG (Debian Octave Group) and will
soon appear in the SVN repository at Alioth [1].
