You have probably seen Jaroslav's message below posted on
octave-maintainers today.  It regards the final 3.0.4. release Since this
version is identical to RC7, I think we should let octave3.0_3.0.4~rc7-1
go into testing before uploading 3.0.4-1 to unstable.  This will happen
in less than one week, since all autobuilders succeeded [1].

Once 3.0.4~rc7-1 reaches testing, it will be time to upload all the
octave-forge pkgs to unstable.  Volunteers?

given the success of RC7, I declare the 3.0.4 release as
semi-officially released.
The tarballs are available from
http://artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~hajej2am/ulozna/octave/

I'll make an announcement to the help list when John uploads the
tarballs to GNU ftp sites.
John, would you, please?

3.0.4 is the last release of 3.0.x series, containing mostly bugfixes
and minor improvements over 3.0.3.
