[Pkg-octave-devel] communication uninstallable

Hey, I just tried to install the communication package to see if there
was something behind that lintian warning. Well, I couldn't since the
comm package that my mirror holds (is.debian.org, but version 1.0.9-1
of the package) holds all the .m files so the install fails with:

Unpacking octave-communications (from .../octave-communications_1.0.9-1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/octave-communications_1.0.9-1_i386.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite /usr/share/octave/packages/3.0/communications-1.0.9/randintrlv.m',
which is also in package octave-communications-common
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)

When I get the source from apt-get -d and build it myself using
debuild -i I get a correct octave-communications package which only
contains the .oct files and no .m files.

What happened during the build of the package? Can't see anything
wrong so something must have gone wrong with the build of the package.

Cheers

Oli
