It seems to me that it makes sense to have a stable and an unstable
version of Octave in a distribution, but having two stable versions of
Octave seems less relevant, especially when there is good backward
compatibility as there is between 3.2 and 3.0.

Moreover, since our other packages (octave forge, dynare...) have
versioned dependency on Octave, the octave3.0 package will have much
less usefulness once those packages depend on octave3.2.

And finally we lack manpower, so it seems better to concentrate on what
is essential.

So my humble opinion would be to drop octave 3.0 when we have moved all
other DOG packages to octave 3.2.
