Welcome. Also your impression is not quite right. Sébastien already
finds interesting bugs in Octave :)

Each package has an individual git repo. In case there hasn't been any
upload since the decision to use git, there may not be a repository yet. 

In such a case, it's probably worth thinking about the package's future
(I recently switched qtoctave over and there the decision was clear. But
we also have some package with no upstream release for several years).

Warning, huge list. for individual packages, it's probably easiest to go
there via the QA page, i.e.
	http://packages.qa.debian.org/qtoctave
and then the VCS link in the upper left corner.

We only keep the debian/ directory in git.
