Only if you install the actual octave binaries without versions (which
is simply done by drop_versioned_binarys).

Whether this makes sense for a 3.6 release needs discussions upstream.
In Debian it's easy to do because we only ever have one version
installed via the package manager and getting rid of the version numbers
simplifies things a lot.
