I think we should use hg since Octave itself uses hg. For projects
that closely maintain packaging with upstream, it works better to use
a unified DVCS (no, hg-git is not a solution).

Sadly, mercurial-buildpackage is badly maintained, so perhaps this
isn't a realistic solution. I still have my own packaging under hg.
Hm, I suppose I should publish it. I'm really busy these days, but
perhaps during the week I can do it.
