The demos exercised by debian/check.m (tsademo, invfdemo, and bisdemo)
produce only plots, no text.  Since we are explicitly asking for an
invisible figure, we see nothing.  If everything runs okay, then we
should see no error message.  This is the sense of this "unit testing".
