It needs a maintainer.
 1) Several versions behind upstream.
 2) Still using QT3 (which would be solved by a newer upstream version).
 3) Several NMUs for other transitions already.

For the Octave transition, yes. However, if I touch the package, I might
as well take care of the other stuff.
