Hi everybody,

I migrated the SVN to Git. The git repositories are available at:

http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-ofed/

I have also been updating the packages, you can see the current status:
https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=pkg-ofed-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org

Some notes:

- I didn't migrate directly the old subversion repository to Git. There were
several branches with different layouts and I didn't feel it was worthwhile
investing a lot time on it. Instead I create the git history importing the
releases that have been upload to Debian.

- The website and the howto are in the repository "pkg-ofed"
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-ofed/pkg-ofed.git

- I've also imported the packages that were taken over / hijacked by Roland.
They're in the /rbd/ folder.

- The folder /not-in-debian/ contains the packages that have been removed from
Debian: compat-dapl, libsdp, qperf, rds-tools, sdpnetstat, tvflash. I don't
need any of those and I'm not willing to maintain them. If somebody is interested
in them, I'll be happy to help reintroducing them in Debian.

- Other packaged removed is libibcommon, it's obsolete since years ago and
after updating the packages, it had not reverse deps in the archive.

- Years ago, when the pkg-ofed started, they were targeting to upload a given
version of OFED as released by the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA). I have updated
the packages to the latest version available independently of the OFED releases.

- I'll keep working on this regularly, but I very much welcome help. It's
impossible for me to check all the bug reports and possible user cases and as a
consequence some bug reports will look as ignored. I'm keeping the packages
maintained as a team with the hope somebody else will help.

- I also asked to remove the infiniband entries from Packages-arch-specific
(#754500) and started to switch the libraries to Architecture: linux-any.
This will make easier the work for porters.

Ana
