[Pkg-openldap-devel] Bug#379728: Hangs persist

I still had problems after disabling the NSS LDAP service (in testing):

Errors were encountered while processing:
 slapd
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
Setting up slapd (2.3.24-2) ...
Creating new user openldap chfn: PAM authentication failed
adduser: `/usr/bin/chfn -f OpenLDAP Server Account openldap' returned
error code 1. Exiting.

Typing in that command manually (slapd was started despite the error) I
get:

sam:~# /usr/bin/chfn -f OpenLDAP 'Server Account openldap'
chfn: unknown user Server Account openldap

Looking at the man page for chfn I don't know what this this is meant to
do, I suspect this was intended:

sam:~# /usr/bin/chfn -f 'Server Account openldap' openldap

(my PAM configuration is setup so that if the account cannot be found
locally, PAM is used instead).

...but maybe this is a bug in adduser???
