[Pkg-openldap-devel] slapd upgrades

When LDAP is used as a NSS backend, is it necessary to upgrade the LDAP
packages alone?

If slapd is upgraded along with other packages, slapd is stopped when
the replacement is unpacked.  But then other packages are configured
before slapd is, and their postinst hangs because LDAP is unreachable
until slapd's postinst runs.  I hope that makes sense.
